How to Donate Polish to The Polish Project

Don't throw away your unwanted nail polish! Let The Polish Project help make someone's day brighter by distributing it to long-term care facilities and women's shelters around the United States.

Items for direct use

The Polish Project can accept the following items for direct distribution to our recipients:

  • Standard polishes in new or gently used condition
  • Nail polish thinner and remover
  • New disposable supplies such as emery boards and cuticle (orange) sticks

Items for resale

Some popular nail polishes can interfere with health monitoring equipment, but we can resell them and use the proceeds to support our mission.

  • UV polishes
  • Magnetic polishes
  • Vintage polishes

Other ways to donate

To keep our recipients healthy, if you have had a nail-related illness, such as a fungal or other nail infection, please chose a different method of helping.

Brand Donors

Without our donors, we'd never be where we are today! We appreciate every every individual who supports us by sending in polish or shares our mission on social media.

We want to give a special shoutout to the generous polish brands who have helped us get started:

Uno Mas Colors

Our very first donor! Plus, Amanda, one of the owners, serves as Brand Liaison for The Polish Project!

Twinkle & Hex Polish

Another small, indie polish maker, Twinkle & Hex Polish was also an early polish donor.

Cracked Polish

Cracked Polish sent multiple boxes of polish and shipping supplies, plus a large selection of the CEO's personal polishes!
